What does it mean to you that Jesus offers himself as “a sacrifice of atonement” (Heb. 2:17) for sin?

    The picture portrayed in shadowed in Leviticus 16. 2 goats, one was slain was was not. Chris tin His humanity was slain, in His divity He was not. He made satisfaction to the Law and justice of God. Humanity, blood, and death were required for this. God propitiated himself and is shown by teh present passive of teh verb halsikomai
