Do you agree with the above quote by Benjamin B. Warfield that the gospel turns on salvation being “of pure grace”? If so, what does that mean for you? If not, why not?
I most certainly do. It gives me great comfort that salvation is not dependant on my at all. Who else would I rather have in control of my salvation, than the God almighty. So many attempt to rescue the will of man in playing some part. So many have renamed Jonathan Edward's famous sermon titled "Sinners in the hands of an angry God'', to 'God in the hands of man"
